ACE: What’s life been like since you last graced our pages when Brisco (CashMoney/Poe Boy) was on the cover?
K: Politics as usual. Building the Mr. Knice, Silverback Studios, and Silverback Entertainment brands. We dropped a lot of new music, and traveled the world performing. I've also created the 1st fully integrated TV and Radio network on Facebook! Me and Industry Muscle partnered up for the All Access/Mason-Dixon live Top 12 indie Youtube countdown. Just staying relevant. That's it, just staying relevant.
ACE: What's up with the new label?
Scrap: My new label is actually the epitome of grindin and hustlin put together, you feel me...It's somethin that me and my manager put together like. We put our two labels together. G$UP, being me and S-LINE, being him. Everybody all around us. All we do is grustle. We grind and we hustle. Not any of us got just one job, we each have at least two, ya feel me? I got Rolls Royce Rizzy. The man from many, many origins. Maryland Menace str8 out of Maryland, feel me. Grustle Gang Chuck str8 outta Charlotte, and Vet Solo outta ATL.We tryin to make it work, ya know. The str8 up way. Everybody out there tryin to do the same thing...Make money. ACE: How did ya'll get the name Swamp Boi?
SB: The name originated from some older koons in the hood who are related to us all, we just took on the name being that we was raised under those koons.
ACE: How long have ya'll known each other?
SB: We've known each other all our lives
ACE: Why did you call your new mix tape, "Get It Out Da Mud"?
SB: Because where we are from you have to get it. That's how you live. No hand outs.
